Audit log
Goal. Know who did what and when: every create, update and delete recorded in the company, with the detail of the changes.
Prerequisites. The Administrator role. It opens from "Settings" › "Audit log".

What the screen shows
- At the top, the "N of M events" count, the "Search by entity, user or action…" box and the funnel button, which opens the "Filters": check boxes by "Action", "Entity" and "User", and "Clear" to remove them.
- Each row shows the "Action", "Create", "Update" or "Delete", the "Date", the "Entity", the "Record ID" and the "User", which states "System" when the CRM itself performed the action.
- At the bottom, "N per page" and "View all".

Viewing an event's detail

Clicking a row unfolds its "Changes": the previous and new value of each modified field. Sensitive data is shown as "•••" and cannot be revealed from here. When the event keeps no detail, "No change details" appears.
Troubleshooting
- "No events match your search". Widen the date range or remove the filters with "Clear".
- An event appears under "System". A CRM automation performed it, for example a reminder task or a follow-up plan.
- The action I am looking for is missing. The log records operations on the company's data; sign-ins and reads are not recorded.
