Companies on the same installation

Goal. Run several companies on the same device, each with its clients, cases, figures, staff and integrations; create a company, switch between them and delete one no longer used.

Prerequisites. The Administrator role to open "Settings" › "Companies". Only the installation owner, whoever administers the main company, can create or delete companies. The license sets how many companies it covers.

How they work

Each company is a separate space: its members, its clients, its cases, its settings and its connections. A person can belong to several and switch between them with "Open"; the active company is marked "You are here". Integrations are not shared: each company connects its own WhatsApp, email, cloud and payment accounts under "Settings" › "Integrations".

The screen states the quota: "N of M companies in use." and "You can still create N companies.", or "You have used every company your license covers. To add another, buy one more from your provider.".

Creating a company

1. Type the "Company name", between 2 and 80 characters.
2. Click "Create company". The CRM confirms with "Company created. You are now inside it." and opens the new company's welcome guide, described under "Getting started": identity, services and first case.

Deleting a company

1. Open another company: the company you are currently working in cannot be deleted.
2. On the company's row, click "Delete". The "Delete “…”" dialog warns that the action is permanent, how many clients and cases will be permanently deleted, and that files stored in the company's cloud, for example Google Drive, are not deleted and earlier backups still contain it.
3. Type the company name as stated under "To confirm, type the company name: …" and click "Delete permanently". The CRM confirms with "The company has been deleted.".

Troubleshooting

• "Only the installation owner can create or delete companies." Ask the administrator of the main company to do it.
• "Your license does not cover another company." Extend the license with your provider.
• "The main company of the installation cannot be deleted." The first company is the one that sustains the installation.
• "The name entered does not match the company name." Type it exactly, including capitals and accents.
• "Not all of the company's files could be deleted, so the company has not been deleted. Please try again." Deletion stopped without removing anything; repeat the operation.
