Notifications

Goal. Receive and manage the CRM's alerts: new messages, leads, assigned cases, payments, signed contracts and system alerts.

Prerequisites. An active session. Each person only sees their own alerts.

The bell

The bell in the top bar shows the number of unread alerts. When a new one arrives, the bell shakes, a short tone plays and a pop-up appears with the "Open" action. The count updates instantly, without reloading the page.

Notifications panel opened from the bell

  1. Click the bell to open the "Notifications" panel.
  2. Click an alert to open the related screen; the alert is marked as read.
  3. Use the cross on each row, "Dismiss this notification", to discard it.
  4. "Mark all as read" clears the count without deleting anything; "Clear" empties the panel.

Alerts on this device

At the bottom of the panel, when the browser supports it, "Enable alerts on this device" appears. Clicking it makes the browser ask for permission to show notifications. Once granted, the CRM confirms "Alerts on: you'll get them even with the app closed". The same option turns into "Disable alerts on this device" to remove them. Activation is per device and browser: a phone and a computer are enabled separately.

Troubleshooting

  • "The browser blocked notifications. Enable them in the site settings". The notification permission was denied. Open the site settings in the browser, allow notifications and click "Enable alerts on this device" again.
  • The device alerts option is missing. The browser does not support push notifications or the CRM is being used in a private window. Try another browser or install the CRM as an app from the browser menu.
  • No tone plays when an alert arrives. Some browsers keep audio muted until you interact with the page. After a click anywhere in the CRM, the following alerts will play.
